I was born and raised in Whittier, California and graduated from University of California at Davis with a major in history. I now reside in San Antonio, Texas and paint in oils and acrylics, Began by attending an evening watercolor class in Houston and continued to take workshops during vacations putting away the brushes and paints when I returned home. Now, retired, my painting is intuitive using color and composition giving  life to experiences in nature. They all start with color.
